Aaron Artman
Vice President of TeamsIn his third year with Strategic Sports, Aaron Artman is the Team President for the Tacoma Rainiers Triple-A Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, and also acts as Vice President of Teams for the company, overseeing team and other business operations.
During the 2009 campaign, Artman led the Rainiers to breaking the all time (50 years) single season attendance record, while generating new partnership and ticket revenue streams, creating new premium products, allowing the team to experience double digit revenue growth and triple digit profit growth for the third straight year. Amongst those accomplishments are directing an increase of 50% in ticket sales and a 120% increase in corporate partnership revenue over a two year span. Artman also is leading the effort for the final phase (phase 3) of a stadium renovation that will result in a $30MM renovation of Cheney Stadium prior to the 2011 season, making it a crown jewel of professional sports on the west coast.
Prior to joining Strategic Sports, Artman spent two years with Microsoft, leading the Windows Consumer marketing for the OEM Division, and six years with Mandalay Baseball Properties.
Artman resides on Fox Island, WA full time, but also offices out of the Strategic Sports corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
